some frustrated haiku

i made paper dolls
of my oil company's spleens.
they kept calling me.

i think that their balls
would look great turned inside out
on network tv.

i hide underground
and bite oil people's toes off
because i want heat.

shivering keeps you
young and beautiful they said.
i don't believe them.

comforters are hip.
i wear one, you should too, yes.
then we can be twins.

Fall here is sort of like fall on the East Coast until about October. Then it turns winter for you guys, and keeps being fall here. It's just not crispy cold like fall is out there. I kind of miss that. The days are usually about 55 with breezes, some sunshine, some clouds. For the past two days it's been raining like NUTS, which is unheard of for out here. Californians say "We're going to have thunder today" instead of "a thunderstorm." Probably because that's usually what happens out here: it thunders once and gives up. :)
The weather just isn't really a *presence* like it is in the East. When it makes itself known (like with all this rain), Californians are like "What the hell?? Who told you to do that? Go back to being bland and non-threatening!"
My hair is definitely longer. I think I might be leaning back into growing it out again. I miss my security blanket :)

Mine is calmly growing its way back out, i contemplate cutting it again and then realize that i don't particularly care and i miss my hair. =)
soon we will match again, ah hahahahaha... *weg*
